In the lead up to an installation at the South London Gallery, OES became a removal service for works of art destined for the bin!

So why move them in a ten metre long, high security truck complete with art handlers? Because Michael Landy, the creator of 'Art Bin' wanted to legitimise works of art donated to him by fellow artists for disposal in his art bin for "creative failures".

To learn more about 'Art Bin' and the questions it prompts: who apportions value to an artwork? Who has the right to destroy it? Or even: is modern art rubbish? - watch this promotional video. It stars Michael Lander and his artist friend, Gary Humes discussing what makes a work of art and features walk on cameos by OES art handlers.
