Our London warehouse is used for collections in transit and is an authorised customs warehouse. Longer-term storage is provided at our secure warehouses in the countryside.

Our facilities are inspected and approved by the Museums and Galleries Commission. They are alarmed and environmentally controlled with provision for parking loaded vehicles overnight in complete safety.

We can accommodate touring exhibitions between venues, store loans prior to delivery and house items awaiting return to lenders. We also have space for long-term artwork storage at very competitive rates.

Both venues offer easy access by prior arrangement. All storage arrangements are confidential.

Driven by demand from overseas clients, our International Shipping department in London recently made a successful application for OES to become an authorised customs warehouse. This means that VAT due on artworks imported from outside the EU can be deferred whilst the item is in our care. It only becomes payable when the item is installed somewhere on permanent display or sold.

This facility has enabled us to move into the handling of art fairs as works protected by customs bonds can be removed from the warehouse for a period of ninety days.
