Leighton House in Kensington was the home of Frederic, Lord Leighton (1830 - 1896) and became a ‘palace for art’ for his own extensive collection of drawings and paintings as well as those of his contemporaries.

The house, which was closed for extensive repairs and the fitting of new fire detection equipment and a heating system, has re-opened with a special exhibition of Leighton's own collection of paintings alongside important loans from the National Gallery and Tate.

The high value and prestigious Leighton works were removed and stored by OES during the refurbishment. For more information on the art handling, packing, storage and transport services that Leighton House benefited from, please explore our website.
